  • If your child is going to be 4 years old on or before September 1
  • If your child is new to the district

Who do I call if my child has not returned home from school on time?

  • First call your child’s school
  • If you do not get an answer, call transportation at 918-833-8100  
  • Note: buses may run 10-minutes after the posted stop time

Who do talk to about transportation for students with special needs?

  • Call our special needs transportation representative at 918-833-8148 or csctrans@tulsaschools.org.
  • Note:  There is a 3-5 day processing window for all new applications

Health/Immunizations

  • Visit Health & Wellness
  • Includes required immunizations, health forms and tips for maintaining good health

Uniforms

Polo Shirt

  • Polo shirts can be long sleeve or short sleeve
  • No t-shirts, or sleeveless shirts. All shirts must have collars
  • No writing, logos, stripes, or patterns
  • Color needs to be Mayo (royal) blue, red or white - with proper Mayo stitched logo over left chest

Pants & Shorts

  • No cargo pants/shorts
  • No jeans
  • Pants should fit properly in all areas.
  • Shorts must extend below the fingertips when the child is standing with hands to their sides

Dresses, Skirts & jumpers

  • Length must extend below the fingertips when the child is standing with hands to their sides.
  • Jumpers must have a collared shirt underneath
  • No writing, logos, stripes, or patterns

Shoes and socks

  • Socks must be solid color.
  • Plain, footed style tights are permitted in solid navy, red, black or white only. 
  • All shoes must have closed heel and toe.
  • No flip flops, sandals, crocs,  jellies, wheelies or boots will be allowed.
  • Shoes with lights, games, or sounds are not allowed
  • Any color, solids only.

Jackets & Coats

  • A navy cardigan or a Mayo fleece jacket may be worn in the classroom. 
  • Heavy coats need to stay in lockers
  • Teachers may have students put their jacket in their locker if it becomes a distraction.

***The navy cardigan may be purchased from C&J Uniforms or K. Renee Uniform Closet. The fleece jackets may be purchased from the Mayo PTA Spirt Store.***


Tights & Leggings

  • Tights/leggings should be worn under a skirt or dress
  • They are not to be worn as pants alone
  • Any solid colors
  • Uniforms are required in all schools.
  • Each school has unique uniform requirements.

Free or Reduced Lunch:

  • All elementary students receive free and reduced meals.
  • Middle school and high school students must fill out an application every year to receive free or reduced meals. Apply here for free or reduced cost meals.

To prepay online for meals:

  • Follow instructions to set up an account and make payments

Student Grades & Records

To view your child’s grades, attendance and other information:

  • Parents - Student Grades
  • Select “Create Account” and provide requested information
  • Sign in using your created account and password
  • Student data, including class schedules, will be available Aug 21st.

For the 19-20 school year, we will use the SchoolMessenger communication system to keep our families updated. It gives us the ability to contact you by phone & text in the event of emergency weather closings and delayed starts. Make sure your contact information is up-to-date with your school and to opt-in to receive text messages, text "Yes" to 67587.

We use three guiding principles to make decisions about postponing or closing schools for inclement weather:

  • Time spent in the classroom is integral to preparing students for academic success.
  • Students and staff must be able to get to and from school safely.
  • Parents and guardians must have adequate time to make arrangements for transportation or childcare.

School closings or delays are communicated widely through our website, social media, SchoolMessenger communication system, and local news outlets.

Early Pick-Up:
